Torigni 2016
We stayed in a converted farmhouse in Guilberville, – well, it is in the countryside about 3 kilometres from “le bourg” ( village centre ). The views of the rolling countryside were magnificent and the setting was very peaceful.
Our hosts, André and Catherine, certainly did all they could to make our stay so enjoyable. André is a gifted craftsman who has done all the renovations himself.

The planting of the olive tree was quite a moving occasion and I am sure it brought the French and English groups even closer together. We always enjoy the Monday excursion and this year’s outing was no exception. The house was interesting the lunch was excellent and the water gardens were certainly a surprise!
Although the groups include people from many different backgrounds the ambiance is always convivial.
Warning – you can easily put on kilos on a twinning trip!
